Walnut Hills - 1st Floor Conference Room

The Conference Room is a versatile space that can accommodate various meeting setups. Perfect for presentations, board meetings, or more casual breakouts and offsites, it features four tables that can be arranged separately or combined to create one large table. 

Additionally, there are two dry erase boards with a reverse side that can function as felt pin boards. Upon request, we can provide coffee, hot water, and tea. The room is equipped with a TV with projecting capabilities for both Mac and PC.

The lower level of our building houses our Children's Play Space. It is perfect for birthday parties, private play dates, classes, and as an add-on to your rental booking, so that your guests can have childcare for their children during your event. The Play Space features 3 distinct play areas geared toward different age groups, as well as nap rooms, a dining area, comfortable rocking chairs, tables and chairs, and a bluetooth speaker. You will have access to a kitchenette equipped with a mini-fridge and microwave. Additionally, we can provide a Keurig coffee machine, filtered water, and mugs.

The Refectory, in OTR at First Lutheran Church, is a versatile and spacious venue offering over 2,000 square feet of flexible space. This multifunctional room can comfortably accommodate up to 100 guests for banquet-style events (or up to 180 guests without tables), for meetings, or performances. Flexible seating, ideal for receptions, community gatherings, meetings, or intimate performances.​ A blend of traditional architecture and modern amenities creates a cozy yet elegant setting. A sliding partition can be used to separate a portion of the room for added privacy or to create breakout areas. Adjacent to the main space, you'll find: a warming kitchen, a Wedding Suite and a Multi-Purpose room for meetings up to 8 people.  Yamaha Baby Grand Piano (Available for use): Perfect for adding a touch of elegance to your event.

Limitations + Rules

  • No access to any other room besides the restrooms on the first floor. If guests express interest in touring the building, please direct them to schedule a separate tour.
  • No use of glitter or confetti.
  • Hot-plates and cookware are not permitted.
  • Animals are not allowed unless they are certified service animals.
  • Smoking is strictly prohibited.
  • Underage drinking is not permitted.
  • All furniture must be returned to its original state at the start of the rental period.
  • Trash, personal belongings, and other items must be removed promptly after the event.
  • Please ensure that all windows are closed.
  • In case of any issues with the AC or heating, please contact rebecca@caalma.org
  • All guests under 18 years of age must be supervised by an adult.
